The mayor of Iaşi, Mihai Chirica, announced on Tuesday that the city’s new stadium will cost over 110 million euros, will have 24,000 seats and will be built on the outskirts of the city, in the Antibiotice area, quoted by News.ro.
The mayor of Iaşi wrote on Facebook on Tuesday that the project to build a European-level stadium in Iaşi is taking another important step, even if “some naysayers are disturbing the peace”, as they no longer believe in the promises of the city hall.
Mihai Chirica claims that he has signed the contract and the order to start the services to update the project of the “King Ferdinand I” Municipal Stadium, the new arena to be located on the outskirts of the city.
